I Wear Black Because It's Slimming

I, like 94.8% of people, used to wear all black when I was in middle school. Every so often I get an itch to go back to my... uhm... roots? I guess we'll call it that. Anyways, I'm wearing a batman shirt and a scarf, so life can't get much better. And yes, I did say earlier that I'm not a hat person, but my hair is almost long enough to put into a bun. Maybe another few weeks and I'll be able to do it, we'll see. 

My girlfriend wants me to talk about my life on here because apparently people look at blogs to connect with others, go figure right? I'm playing Far Cry 4 right now which is pretty good. I'll probably post a review of it. What? A game review? You thought this was a fashion blog, didn't you? Well, too bad.

I promise I'm not a hat person. I know I've worn a hat in most all my posts so far, but my hair has entered an awkward phase of not really looking the best when it's down. I'm waiting until it's long enough to put it in a bun. Anyways, Mariah and I went to the park to take these photos, it was really cold and windy. I'm trying my best to not look like I'm freezing. Maybe I'll try wearing warmer clothes next time.

A Walk in the Woods

Mariah and I took the puppy for a walk through the woods today. She's still young and full of energy so we try to exhaust her as much as possible but it can be hard with how much we both work. Also, yes, I'm wearing the same shirt as the other day. It's one of my favorite shirts and it fits fairly well, so I apologize for a repeat. Also, I'm usually not a hat person, but Mariah bought me a beanie the other day and I haven't been able to take it off since. My hair is getting long and I can't stand it when it falls in my face, so the beanie helps a lot with that. Mariah said I look unemployed in a hot sort of way. I took it as a compliment. I promise my next post won't have this shirt in it.

Farewell to Nice Days

The past few days here in Olympia have been fairly nice, so, I decided to take advantage of the sunny weather, and throw on something a bit lighter, seen as though it was going to be another seven months until I could get away without wearing a jacket. I've always liked the look of suspenders but I don't always want to wear a button-up just to have an excuse to put them on. Matching them with this band t-shirt actually looked better than I thought it was going to. Here's to the last nice days of the year!

Hello World

So, I've never blogged before. My girlfriend has a fashion blog (here) and through her amazing photography and many helpful nudges, she has convinced me to show off my own attire. I've always enjoyed dressing a little nicer, but ever since I met Mariah the clothes I wear took a turn for the better. I constantly ask her advice on what I should wear, or even have her pick an outfit for me. Actually, I believe she picked out everything I'm wearing in these photos. Little by little though I've been getting a sense of what looks good and how to put together a classy outfit (all by myself!). So, I suppose we'll see where this goes.
